Privacy Policy — Janeen (جنين)

Last updated: June 14, 2026Janeen ("Janeen", "we", "us") is a parenting and baby-tracking application built by a pediatrician for mothers in Kuwait and the Gulf. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Janeen is the data controller responsible for your information.By using Janeen, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. Who can use Janeen

Janeen is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly create accounts for anyone under 18. The app is used by a parent or caregiver to track information about their own child; the child is not a user of the app.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide:Account details: your name and email address (or the sign-in method you choose).Child information you enter: name, date of birth, gender, and the growth, feeding, sleep, diaper, pumping, medication, and milestone data you choose to log.Community content: posts, comments, and any text you choose to share in the community feed.Information collected automatically:Crash and stability data, used only to find and fix bugs. We do not use advertising or behavioral analytics.Basic technical information needed to deliver the app (such as device type and app version).We do not collect payment information in the current version of the app.

3. Health-related information

Some of the information you log (such as growth, feeding, and medication entries) relates to your child's health. We treat this information with extra care. It is stored to provide the tracking, reports, and wellness features of the app, and it is not sold, rented, or shared for advertising. You can delete this information at any time.

4. How we use your information

We use your information to:Provide and operate the app's tracking, reports, wellness score, and community features.Send you notifications you have enabled, such as vaccine reminders, milestone reminders, and tracking-session reminders.Maintain the security and reliability of the app and fix problems.Respond to your requests and support questions.

5. How your information is stored and processed

Janeen uses Google Firebase to host and process data on our behalf, including authentication, database storage, and file storage. Firebase acts as our processor and handles data according to Google's security and privacy commitments. We do not share your information with any other third party for their own purposes, and we do not use third-party advertising networks.

6. The community feed

Content you post in the community feed is visible to other users of the app. Please do not post information you wish to keep private. You can report posts or block users, and we may remove content or accounts that violate our terms.

7. Notifications

Janeen sends push notifications for reminders and updates. You can turn notifications off at any time in your device settings.

8. Your rights

You can:Access and update the information in your account.Delete your child's logged data, your community posts, or your entire account.Withdraw consent for notifications.Request a copy of your data or ask questions about how it is handled.To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@janeen.app.

9. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your associated data within a reasonable period, except where we are required to retain limited records by law.

10. International users and legal basis

Janeen is operated from Kuwait and intended for users in Kuwait and the Gulf. We aim to handle personal data consistently with Kuwait's data protection framework (including CITRA requirements) and with the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where applicable. Our legal basis for processing is your consent and the performance of the service you request.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Significant changes will be communicated within the app.

آخر تحديث: 14 يونيو 2026جنين ("جنين"، "نحن") تطبيق لمتابعة الطفل والأمومة، صممه دكتور أطفال للأمهات في الكويت والخليج. توضح سياسة الخصوصية هذه شنو المعلومات اللي نجمعها، وكيف نستخدمها، وشنو خياراتج. جنين هي المسؤولة عن بياناتج (المتحكم بالبيانات).باستخدامج للتطبيق، أنتِ موافقة على سياسة الخصوصية هذي. إذا ما توافقين، الرجاء عدم استخدام التطبيق.

1. مين يقدر يستخدم جنين

جنين موجّه للبالغين بعمر 18 سنة وأكثر. ما ننشئ حسابات لأي شخص دون 18 سنة عن علم. التطبيق تستخدمه الأم أو مقدّمة الرعاية لمتابعة معلومات طفلها، والطفل نفسه مو مستخدم للتطبيق.

2. المعلومات اللي نجمعها

معلومات تقدمينها أنتِ:بيانات الحساب: اسمج وإيميلج (أو طريقة تسجيل الدخول اللي تختارينها).معلومات الطفل اللي تدخلينها: الاسم، تاريخ الميلاد، الجنس، وبيانات النمو والرضاعة والنوم والحفاض والشفط والدواء والمهارات اللي تسجلينها.محتوى المجتمع: المنشورات والتعليقات وأي نص تختارين مشاركته في المجتمع.معلومات تُجمع تلقائياً:بيانات الأعطال والاستقرار، نستخدمها فقط لاكتشاف المشاكل وإصلاحها. ما نستخدم تحليلات إعلانية أو سلوكية.معلومات تقنية أساسية لازمة لتشغيل التطبيق (مثل نوع الجهاز وإصدار التطبيق).ما نجمع معلومات دفع في النسخة الحالية من التطبيق.

3. المعلومات الصحية

بعض المعلومات اللي تسجلينها (مثل النمو والرضاعة والدواء) تتعلق بصحة طفلج. نتعامل وياها بعناية إضافية. تُخزّن عشان نوفّر ميزات المتابعة والتقارير ومؤشر الصحة، وما تُباع ولا تُؤجّر ولا تُشارك لأغراض إعلانية. تقدرين تحذفينها بأي وقت.

4. كيف نستخدم معلوماتج

نستخدم معلوماتج عشان:نوفّر ونشغّل ميزات المتابعة والتقارير ومؤشر الصحة والمجتمع.نرسل لج التنبيهات اللي فعّلتيها، مثل تذكير التطعيمات والمهارات وجلسات المتابعة.نحافظ على أمان التطبيق وموثوقيته ونصلّح المشاكل.نرد على طلباتج وأسئلة الدعم.

5. كيف تُخزّن معلوماتج وتُعالَج

يستخدم جنين خدمة Google Firebase لاستضافة ومعالجة البيانات بالنيابة عنا، بما في ذلك تسجيل الدخول وتخزين قاعدة البيانات والملفات. تعمل Firebase كمعالج للبيانات وتتعامل وياها وفق التزامات Google الأمنية. ما نشارك معلوماتج مع أي طرف ثالث آخر لأغراضه الخاصة، وما نستخدم شبكات إعلانات.

6. المجتمع

المحتوى اللي تنشرينه في المجتمع يكون ظاهر لباقي المستخدمات. الرجاء عدم نشر معلومات تبين تحافظين على خصوصيتها. تقدرين تبلّغين عن المنشورات أو تحظرين المستخدمات، وممكن نحذف أي محتوى أو حساب يخالف الشروط.

7. التنبيهات

يرسل جنين تنبيهات للتذكير والتحديثات. تقدرين توقفينها بأي وقت من إعدادات جهازج.

8. حقوقج

تقدرين:تطّلعين على معلومات حسابج وتحدّثينها.تحذفين بيانات طفلج أو منشوراتج أو حسابج بالكامل.تسحبين موافقتج على التنبيهات.تطلبين نسخة من بياناتج أو تسألين عن طريقة التعامل وياها.لممارسة أي من هالحقوق، تواصلي معانا على privacy@janeen.app.

9. مدة الاحتفاظ بالبيانات

نحتفظ بمعلوماتج طول ما حسابج فعّال. لما تحذفين حسابج، نحذف بياناتج المرتبطة خلال مدة معقولة، إلا في الحالات اللي يلزمنا فيها القانون الاحتفاظ بسجلات محدودة.

10. المستخدمات خارج الكويت والأساس القانوني

يُدار جنين من الكويت وموجّه للمستخدمات في الكويت والخليج. نهدف للتعامل مع البيانات الشخصية بما يتوافق مع إطار حماية البيانات في الكويت (بما في ذلك متطلبات CITRA) ومع مبادئ اللائحة الأوروبية العامة لحماية البيانات (GDPR) عند انطباقها. أساسنا القانوني للمعالجة هو موافقتج وتنفيذ الخدمة اللي تطلبينها.

11. التعديلات على السياسة
